By attending our Open Call you or your child will have the opportunity to be seen by our Agents for agency representation in the Carolinas. We are always booking for upcoming PAID TV Commercials, Films, Print Ads and Video projects that are being shot in the Carolinas, Virginia and the Georgia markets.


While registering for ANY time slot only register the name of the talent that we will be auditioning. Do NOT register the Parent's name unless you are attending the Free Parent Information session. Please DO NOT bring friends or additional family members with you unless they are registered to audition.  Only ONE parent or a guardian is allowed to attend with the talent during the audition unless 2 parents are attending the Free Parent Information seminar with their child.  We apologize but we do not have adequate room to seat additional people who are NOT auditioning. 
 

All attendees please arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition to fill out required audition paperwork and be sure to look below for the designated audition time slots and expectations for the appropiate age groups. Auditions may last up to one hour.


If the time slot that you prefer is FULL or registration has ended then please add your name to the wait list or call us at 704 335-0027 and we will add additional registration time slots.

Please arrive informed & prepared....
This is an Agency Interview.  Please arrive on time and be patient during your wait, we are a Christian Agency you can dress casual but please be appropriate. Do not bring food or beverages into the agency and please turn your phone on silent before you enter.  If a child is auditioning be sure they are comfortable & prepared to audition in front of a camera & our Agents. 

Parents of newborns to age 6 please register for the 9:00 FREE Parent Information session. 
During this session you will have the opportunity to meet with our Agency owner and Sr Agent, Vince Paul.  He will explain the history and mission of Talent Link, the types and pay rates of jobs that are available in this market for your child, He will also show commercials featuring children that are your child's age that has been booked by Talent Link and wrap it up with the proper steps of how to launch your child's career. We are proud to say unlike many other agencies we DO book infants and toddlers, however we ask that you DON'T BRING CHILDREN DURING THIS SESSION due to the possible distraction that may be caused to our speaker and other invited guest. Parents please bring 1-4 current, non returnable photos of your child for our agents to view.  Children that are 5-6 and are registered to audition at 10:30 am will be allowed to also attend during this session due to their audition being scheduled immediately after this session.

Registration for ages: 5 to age 6. Register for the 10:30 time slot only:
We would like to see children between the ages 5 & 6 audition during this time slot. During your child's audition they will be asked a few simple questions,  we will  be evaluating their personality, comfort level and ability to take direction from a Agent / Casting Director. The parents of attendees of this audition time slot are also encouraged to register for the 9:00am FREE Parent Information session prior to their audition.
Only 1 Parent will be allowed during the audition unless 2 parents attended with the child during the Free Parent session.
 

Registration for ages: 7- adult. 
All talent will be given a commercial cold read, however please inform our agents before your audition if you also have a monologue prepared or you have another talent that you would also like us to see.
 Only 1 Parent will be allowed during the audition if the talent is a minor.

 

Callbacks:
If talent is traveling from more than 3 hrs from Charlotte to audition and our agents have an interest in seeing you for you a callback, then you may be invited to stay for a group callback that will take place the same day between 2:00pm - 3:00pm.  All other Callbacks will take place back at the agency during the upcoming week. A Congratulations Callback email will only be sent to those select individuals that our agents have an interest in and you will be asked to return back to the agency to discuss next steps needed to move forward with the agency such as, representation procedures, proper marketing materials and training classes and cost (if needed).  

"I have heard if there is a cost then it's a scam. Is this a true statement?" 
"This statement makes me cringe every time I hear anyone say it without giving a full explanation of what they're referring to, and unfortunately most people can't.  So I will try to explain so that you are properly educated on what is and isn't acceptable. If an agency offers training, photography or any other related fee based service it's only offered to allow the talent to become more competitive and marketable. Yes there are fees charged for those services offered. Nothing is Free and it is quite common for many agencies in this market to offer additional fee-based services for potential new talent to become agency ready.  Many people are misinformed and believe that if an Agency charges fees then it's a SCAM. The Truth is that everyone who wants to act professionally needs professional training and professional photography to compete against the other professionals in this industry.  This is what identifies you as a professional and what the industry expects from you. Now, there are agencies that REQUIRE that you use ONLY their services or REQUIRE you to pay them to join or to receive an Agency contract; in this case I say YES these are unethical entities and should raise a red flag. The difference with Talent Link is if you already have adequate training and professional photography you may not be required to shoot with us or take our training. We are located in the Highland Mills Apartment building next to the Johnston YMCA.  Please follow the Talent Link directional signs and enter our parking lot by traveling to end of E. 33rd Street that runs along the side of the YMCA. Turn left through the security gate and then turn to your immediate left into the parking lot, our office is located half way down on the right lower level between the 2nd & 3rd light posts. Please park along the grassy field side of our parking lot. Please walk straight ahead, down the steps and make a left to our Office Suite #131.
